I decided to chronicle my evolution from who I am today, to however close I get to the person I want to become – however long that may take. Journalling day-by-day in the form of a blog felt like it would keep me acknowledging my progress and staying on track. If no-one knows about this little excursion into the literary ether, it will allow me to comfortably say exactly what I want, no matter how outlandish or unlikely its occurence may be.
I’ve decided to develop my comedic talents to their peak. I’m starting with studying and training myself in writing gags and jokes, and I plan to progress through developing and performing stand-up, writing comedic screeplays, and penning and pitching a raft of TV show ideas I’ve been keeping on life support for decades. Suddenly acutely aware of time’s speedy march, I’ve already begun.
This bloody blog page took forever to figure out and finagle into functioning. But it’s alive now and I can begin my progress. Enjoy, dear imaginary reader as the ludicrous and improbable is assailed and worked and willed from dream to reality. Wish me well! – Taffy
